Welcome to the website for the Blue Economy Development Index (BEDI). The BEDI is a development tool aimed at accelerating the global shift towards a sustainable blue economy by empowering archipelagic and island states with reliable information pertaining to the use of coastal and marine resources.

Within this platform, users can readily access the data acquired from the 2021 BEDI Report, which currently encompasses twenty-two participating countries of the AIS Forum. It is important to note that BEDI is an ongoing initiative, continuously evolving and enhancing. As our efforts advance, we are dedicated to extending the coverage of the BEDI to encompass more archipelagic and island states in the near future.
